Northowram Fields CC First XI v Gildersome on Sat 26 May 2007 at 1.00
Northowram Fields CC Won 6pts

Match report Rob Larner punished the Gildersome bowling as he blazed a superb century to guide Northowram/Fields to an excellent 119-run success in Division One.

Larner was imperious again at the top of the order, smashing 105 before falling leg before to two wicket man Max Elliott.

Larner's knock proved vital as Mohammed Javed made relatively light work of the Northowram card, claiming figures of 7 for 102 in a punishing 25 overs.

Shell-shocked Gildersome strayed well below the rate as they fell victim to a fine battery of bowlers which saw Chris Thompson pick up 3 for 16 and Gary Rodger 2 for 5.

Leg spinner Scott Hadnum then wiped out the last two batsmen to leave Gildersome well short on 118.
